“You should really join me, [Name],” Makoto's soft voice crept into your ears, interrupting your flow of imagination as you flipped through the pages of the book help currently in your hands. Without giving it a second thought, you shook your head in response. It wasn't until a loud whine flew from Makoto's lips that your attention had turned to him.

Makoto glanced at you from the edge of the pool, most of his body wrapped warmly in the water's grips. His arms rested comfortably on the concrete of the edge, and his chin sat gently atop his arms. With a small sigh, he hauled himself from the pool's embrace, droplets of water dripping down the contours of his muscular and well-built body.

Makoto stepped towards you and hooked his left arm under the crook of your knees, and his right around your back, lifting you gently from the comfort of the beach chair you were occupying and holding you close to his chest. “M-Makoto! I don't want to get wet!,” you squealed, struggling against the grip of the strong arms around your body. He knew that excuse held no truth, however. He had tried time and time again to get you to swim with him, but to no avail. Your slight fear of the water kept you from enjoying such an activity with your gentle boyfriend.

A low chuckle rumbled in Makoto's throat as his emerald-green eyes stared down into your [e/c] optics. With each movement, each step taken towards the pool's edge, you could feel the muscles in his naked torso shift and tighten, rippling ever so slightly under his skin's surface.

“It's okay, [Name],” he whispered, lowering both yours and his body into the inviting water. “I've got you, and I won't let you go.”
