“Huh?” You raised your eyebrows, questioningly, and held your hand out in front of you, watching as droplets of rain began to collect. “It wasn't supposed to rain today, was it? Makoto?,” you asked, looking around to locate the gentle giant who had previously been by your side. After a quick moment, your [e/c] gaze found the brown-haired boy taking shelter underneath an awning of the closest building, but you stayed where you stood, looking up to have the raindrops fall down onto your face, a refreshing feeling.


“[N-Name]-chan! You need to get out of the rain, or you'll catch a cold!,” he scolded you, his emerald-green eyes showing signs of concern. A small feeling of guilt washed over you for making the caring boy worry about you and a small pout formed on your lips. You walked towards him with your head down, shoulders hunched over, sulking.


When you reached him, however, you lifted your head to reveal a mischievous grin, before grabbing his hand and pulling him out into the rain with you. Taking his free hand in yours, you began twirling your bodies 'round in a circle, your clothes beginning to stick tightly to your skin, as they became drenched from the rain above.


You glanced at Makoto, who seemed to be relaxing more, a smile breaking out on his face. He threw his head back, allowing the cool raindrops to cover his face, and let out a joyous laugh.


Just then, a loud bang! cracked above, as a lightning bolt simultaneously ripped through the sky. The significantly taller boy audibly whimpered in fear and clutched at the left side of his chest. You giggled at his childish reaction, but placed your arms around his torso, nonetheless, pulling him into a comforting hug. “You scare too easily, Mako-chan!”
