Closing your eyes, you breathed deeply, in through your nose and out through your mouth, allowing the scenery around you to invade and overtake your sense. The smell of the beach's fresh water filled your nostrils. The sounds of the seagull's calls and screeches of the surrounding children's joy danced into your ears. The feeling of the sand beneath your feet warming you instantly. Cracking your [e/c] eyes open, your gaze found your small group of friends, almost all of them donning a happy smile on their face.

With a smile of your own playing on your lips, you started undressing, pulling off your outer clothes to reveal a small, cute bikini underneath. You then began to apply a thick layer of sunscreen to your exposed skin, completely oblivious to the lustful stares of the unfamiliar men that scattered the beach's sand. Their stares didn't last long, however, as a certain dark-haired teen placed himself beside you, his long arm snaking itself protectively around your waist. “Oh, Kuroo! Perfect timing, can you rub this on my back?,” you asked, handing him the bottle of sunscreen.

“Happily, [Name]-chan!,” he cooed, an unreadable smirk taking over his lips as he squeezed the white substance onto his hands before carefully spreading it onto your naked back. Ignoring the antics of your friends, you spread out a towel on the sand's surface and laid stomach-down on the beach towel. As your [e/c] orbs slipped shut, the sounds of the busy beach began seeming further and further away, sleep taking over your tired body.

Several hours passed before you awoke, the daylight slipping away as you stood from your spot and stretched, a yawn erupting from your lips. “Ne, [Name]-chan, you're finally awake? What a waste of a day,” Kuroo teased.

You shrugged your shoulders and started collecting your belongings, noticing Kenma had placed himself behind you, his eyes squinting as he stared at your back. “Um, [Name]. What's that on your back?,” he questioned. You twisted and turned your body in awkward angles, but couldn't see anything wrong. With a small sigh, Kenma pulled out his cellphone and you heard the shutter sound before he held his phone out for you.

His picture gave you a full view of your back and you furrowed your brows in frustration as you took in the image. Thanks to the sun's harsh rays and Kuroo's placement of the sunscreen on your back, you now seemed to have a tan that covered nearly every inch of your skin, aside from an area on the small of your back, which now seemed to read the name 'Kuroo.' Your eyebrow twitched in annoyance as you rounded on the aforementioned male, a nasty glare being shot his way. “Kuroo! What the hell's your problem?!”

“Hmm? I'm not sure what you're talking about, [Name]-chan!,” he spoke, feigning innocence for a moment, before the glare stubbornly painted on your face changed his tune. “It's hard to explain, [Name]-chan,” Kuroo stated, shrugging his large shoulders. “I call it 'marking my territory.' Now everyone will know that you're mine.”

A small blush dusted your cheeks at this admission and Kuroo drew himself closer, placing one large hand on your cheek, gently stroking your cheek with his thumb. Leaning down to your shorter frame, his lips placed themselves atop yours, sending a shot of electricity through your body, as his kisses always did. He pulled away slowly, his eyes meeting yours and his lips curling upwards in a devious smirk.

“F-Fine. I suppose...you're forgiven.”
